Belanda Consulting  was established in 2007 by Dr Jacqueline ('Jay') Dempster, whose former role was in a senior position in academic development at the University of Warwick as well as working with a wide range of practitioners, managers and researchers at various other universities & national bodies across the Higher Education sector on strategic & practical educational enhancement & innovation work.

With 20 years experience in research and teaching in HE in the UK & Netherlands, Jay  is an established practitioner: researcher, teacher, staff developer, project manager & evaluator with a solid record of collaborative work, projects, presentations & publications. We offer client-focused consultancy, teaching & evaluation services to projects, departments & organisations with particular expertise in developing staff capability, research-led teaching,  curriculum innovation, including e-learning.  We can help you to scope, manage and/or evaluate projects; assist in strategic planning & briefings; plan & facilitate events; contribute to teaching, online tutoring & assessment for academic development and e-learning programmes. 

Rates & fees

Our rates of services are negotiable, but an indication of likely charges is between £425 and £750 per day, exclusive of expenses, depending on the nature and duration of the assignment and amount of preparation required.

For example, project contracts and regular contributions to annual programmes or projects will often attract a lower fee than one-off consultancy days.
